Generation Bible College Affiliation

Generation Bible College (GBC) is affiliated with Calvary Chapel Bible College (CCBC) Main Campus in Murrieta, California. Through this affiliate campus, students can study in Santa Barbara, CA and earn credit toward a CCBC degree. Although connected with the Main Campus through the Calvary Chapel family, each Affiliate Campus is a separate ministry under the oversight and leadership of its own local Calvary Chapel Church. For GBC, the college is under the oversight and leadership of Calvary Chapel Santa Barbara.

Through GBC, students can earn up to 60 credits toward a CCBC degree. Although most of the courses offered at GBC are transferrable to the Main Campus in Murrieta, the Main Campus Registrar’s Office makes the final decision as to which courses are accepted toward CCBC’s degree programs. Courses are either approved or denied before each semester begins, so that students can be informed before enrolling in a course that is not transferable or “not-for-credit”. A minimum of 20 credits must also be completed at the Murrieta campus or through the CCBC Distance Learning program in order to earn a Calvary Chapel Bible College degree.
