Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate students will fulfill these requirements:
80 credits of courses overall. A student should average 20 credits per semester for four semesters.
- Minimum of 24 credits must be these Required Courses:
- Genesis 3 credits
- Romans 3 credits
- Acts 3 credits
- Revelation 3 credits
- A Gospel (Matthew, Mark, Luke or John) 2 credits or 3 credit class
- Apologetics/Cults 2 credits
- IBS/Hermeneutics 2 credits (This course is no longer considered required)
- Missions Class 2 credits
- Church History 2 credits (This course is no longer considered required)
- Theology 2 credits
15 credits must be from Bible Elective Courses.
This is any class that is taught verse by verse through a specific book of the Bible (this does not include OT or NT Overviews).
12 credits must be from OT & NT Survey Courses.
This is Pastor Chuck teaching through the Bible. This is 3 credits each semester.
8 credits must be from M199 Practical Christian Ministry Courses.
This is 2 credits each semester. Four semesters of Practical Christian ministry are required irrespective of the fact that 8 credits have been achieved.
20 or more credits can be fulfilled by taking Elective Courses.
At this campus, students will take each semester the following courses that will count as electives.
- Chapel 1 credit
- Lectures in Ministry & Theology 2 credits
*It is the responsibility of the student to track his or her progress toward a degree through the use of the graduation worksheet available from the Registrar's Office.
Graduation Procedures
Potential graduates must sign up for a graduation interview in the Registrar's Office when they register for their last semester. They will review records, resolve academic conflicts, verify degree level and complete a petition to graduate during the graduation interview. In addition, we will schedule the graduation ceremony rehearsal and various meetings for the graduates at that time. This must be completed no later than the 8th week of the final semester for that student.
